Dessert in Xintiandi, a visit to Shanghai Historical Museum, and walking around West Lake in Hangzhou.
At work this week, I finished assisting one of the graphic designers, Celcea, with the creation of a master PPT template for a sales presentation.
At Chinese school, I was placed into a Level 3 class. I thought that the difficulty of this class was more fitting for my proficiency level of Chinese, but the school would not let me, Anna, John, nor Andy stay in this particular class with this particular teacher since she only held classes once a week (versus the required amount of twice a week).
Weekend in Hangzhou (杭州）
On the first day in Hangzhou, we visited West Lake. Although lunch was not that memorable (I'm pretty sure they served us chicken nuggets or fries for the first dish), climbing up and down a nearby pavilion was a fun (albeit hot and sweaty) experience. It was nice to see a change of pace and scenery different from that of metropolitan Shanghai.
